Nigerian singer and songwriter, Chidinma Ekile, popularly known by her stage name Chidinma, has paid a three-day visit to Uganda aimed at inspiring young people through a reach out project, GetupSpeakOut , organised by Reach A Hand, Uganda.
The non-profit youth-led organisation focused on youth empowerment programs with the emphasis on #SRHR and HIV/AIDS awareness.
The Kedike crooner spoke to over 600 young people from Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia.
She spoke on topics ranging from teenage pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, peer pressure, rape to drug abuse to mark the foundation’s fourth Annual Youth Camp dubbed #GetUpSpeakOut
She attended the event alongside Emmanuel Ikubese, the lead actor in the award winning TV Series MTV Shuga.
