M-Net Edge is excited that Emmy® Award-winning Best Drama Series Game of Thrones is returning on Tuesday, 26 April at 1am (Express from the U.S.) and Thursday, 28 April at 10pm (Prime Time) with an all-new season of duplicity and treachery, nobility and honour, conquest and triumph.
Game of Thrones Season 5 recap:
There were some shocking developments at the end of Season 5, including Jon Snow’s bloody fate at the hands of Castle Black mutineers, Daenerys’ near-demise at the fighting pits of Meereen, and Cersei’s public humiliation on the streets of King’s Landing – survivors from all parts of Westeros and Essos regroup to press forward, inexorably, towards their uncertain individual fates.
What to expect in Season 6:
Season 6 will see familiar faces forging new alliances to bolster their strategic chances at survival, while there will be new characters that will emerge to challenge the balance of power in the east, west, north and south.
Episode 1 “The Red Woman”
Written by David Benioff & D. B. Weiss; Directed by Jeremy Podeswa
“Jon Snow is dead. Daenerys meets a strong man. Cersei sees her daughter again.”
