Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o, fresh off his match-winning hat-trick againstManchester United, has revealed plans to return to La Liga with Mallorca in the near future.
Colin Harvey reports in the Daily Star that Eto'o, 32, is planning to leave the Premier League after just one season:
I'll always like Barca, but I personally prefer Mallorca. My son has pressured me to finish my career there, as he is from there.I have signed on at Chelsea for the entire season and will try to enjoy it. Later on, I will go to Mallorca.
The former Barcelona and Real Madrid star only signed a one-year contract with the Blues and, given his age, a short-term stay at Stamford Bridge was always the plan.
As shown by this tweet from Squawka, Eto'o's shot conversion in the Premier League hasn't been as adept as would have been hoped, with a Chelsea team who are a work in progress:
