In this carefully selected list, we joyously take you into the world of our 10 sexiest OAPs, currently rocking the
airwaves nonstop with their sexy voices and swags.
Wana Wana
(Inspiration FM)
Her real name is
Wana Udobang, and she is a radio presenter at 92.3 Inspiration FM. She
graduated from the University College, London, with a first class degree in
Broadcast Journalism, and was a feature producer for BBC and Resonance FM
(London’s only art radio station.) Very immersed in the arts; Wana writes (on
her website wanawana.net), “crafts
poems, supports causes, is obsessed with doing audio documentaries and she is
hilarious. She is internationally recognized.”
Toolz (Beat
FM)
Just about the
most talked-about OAP, Toolz takes broadcasting to a whole new level. Tolu
Oniru, was born and almost bred in the UK- she spent a little time in Nigeria
for her primary school education. Yet she claims “Naija” just as hard as the
lady selling boli and epa around the corner. Before joining Beat FM, she worked
with MTV London. Her wish has come true in Nigeria, where, in such a short
time, she has become one of the most popular OAPs in the country. Of course,
the fact that she has such a beautiful body helps.
Taymi
(Cool FM)
Temilola Balogun is not your average girl. She might
walk in the midst of many or even sit beside you in a class but this young
woman is a jack of all trades. She has worked on plays as well as worked in
advertising and various radio stations. She also won an award for best film of
the year from her university. She designs T- shirts, and also sings with her
band Soyinka's Afro. She is behind the hit single "Senrenre" with
Ajebutter 22, and Studio Magic. She's also a fashion photographer that has shot
for various fashion houses.
Temilola also known as Taymi B and Taymilistic Taymi
on air is a very complicated yet simple person, friendly and a little bit
crazy. She handles the Midday Oasis with Do2dtun on weekdays from 10am -
3:00pm.
Kaylah
(Cool FM)
Her name,
Kaylah means 'who is like God’. This graduate of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun
State is a goal getter, a dream chaser and adventurous. Even though she often
says she is not surprised she is now a radio personality, she agreed she has
always wanted to be on the radio. “I'm not surprised I'm here, I've always
loved to talk, but my love for radio
began in the
early 90's, I recollect listening to the radio, recording shows and songs and
then playback so I would get the lyrics right.”
Gbemi (Beat
FM)
The Drive Time Show with Gbemi is a fun ride all the
way. With loads of great music (both Nigerian and international) She is Miss
411 after all! She’s got the low down on every relevant celeb on the planet.
It’s like gisting with your friend who has everyone’s gist. One of her
strengths is the ability to get any celebs to spill their guts when she
interviews them.
Fade (Beat FM)
Crazy, sexy and cool Fade was born in Lagos and then
shipped off to London at the tender age of eight. She loves all genres of
music; anything from classical jazz to hard house and everything in between.
She is a Journalism graduate and worked as a freelance
journalist for some of London’s most popular publications including Vogue.
Since arriving back in Lagos, she has produced music videos, TV commercials and
live concerts such as the Koko Concert.
Omalicha
(Rhythm FM)
Anita Ifeoma Isedeh famously known as Omalicha is the
oldest of three siblings and the only girl. She is from Agbor in Delta State.
She co-hosts the morning drive on wednesday with I.K. The late show (faji
Friday) on Fridays, Hola at the seaside (the request show) on Saturdays, Sunday
at the seaside on Sundays. She is one presenter that will ask the most
uncomfortable question. She is crazy, down to earth and quite fun to listen to.
And there is never a dull moment with her.
Toke Makinwa
(Rhythm FM)
Television and radio
personality, Toke Makinwa, burst onto the scene in 2010 after the premiere of
her late night radio show, "Rhythms of the Night," hosted by one of
the most popular music stations in the Lagos Metropolitan area, Rhythm 93.7FM.
The show caters for night owls who enjoy smooth melodies that evoke a sense of
peace, serenity and calm. Above all, this 27-year old exudes so much warmth whenever
air.
A graduate of the University
of Lagos, Makinwa had always known that her charm and alluring countenance
belonged to the spotlight. In 2011, she started to build her portfolio working
as a co-host on 'The Morning Drive,' where she keeps her loyal listeners
entertained with news across the continent and the globe.
Maria (Beat
FM)
Born in London,
England, Maria Okanrende was shuttling between TV reporting gigs when she was
asked to audition for a presenter spot at the Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Nigeria.
She auditioned while on vacation and hasn't looked back ever since!
After studying
English Literature at the university, she received her first taste of the media
industry when she scored a unique opportunity to intern at Global Radio, home
to some of UK's most popular radio stations including, Capital FM, Choice FM
and Heart FM back in 2009. Since then, she has had the pleasure of working with
the BBC, MTV and Dropout UK, as well as interviewing a wide range of superstars
from Bow Wow, Alexandra Burke, Mary J Blige and Tinie Tempah to Wizkid, D'banj,
Tuface, Davido and many more.
Maria plays the
role of 'Foye' on season 3 of MTV's Shuga. Catch Maria on the Beat FM airwaves
co-hosting The Morning Rush from Monday to Friday, 6am to 11am.

FM)
Titilayo Oyinsan
famously known as Titi is amazingly known in different sectors of the Nigerian
entertainment industry. She is stunningly attractive with a unique
voice. Titi is also a professional voice-over artiste since 2008 till date.
She boasts of over a decade experience in the entertainment and modeling
industries in Nigeria and South Africa, respectively.
Her weekdays programme, Tea Break with Titi, usually ignites the airwaves between 10.a.m and 12 noon.
