It could be recalled that on Wednesday, June 7, late Nollywood actress Moji Olaiya was buried amid tears. Colleagues, family members and friends were all present to bid her farewell.
Following the death of Moji Olaiya, popular movie marketer Gbenga Adewusi, boss of Bayowa Films Production is currently under fire from Nigerians for trying to make money from the late actress untimely death.
Adewusi popularly called Bayowa recently released a movie titled ‘Moji Olaiya Canada to Grave’.
The release of this DVD has caused a lot of argument between him and his fans as many find it very disrespectful to the dead. Adewusi has come out to reveal that the movie is not for sale but only meant for their site
Bayowa faced backlash from Nigerians after he posted the picture of the DVD cover on his Instagram handle with the caption: “MOJI OLAIYA CANADA TO GRAVE! Movie Clips with TEARS OF SORROW. FEMI ADEBAYO, RONKE OSHODI OKE, MUIYWA ADEMOLA and others in Pains.”
Despite his excuse of releasing such a movie, Nigerians failed to understand as some said that is a very bad thing to do. One of the comments read:
“What the heck is all this? Nigerians are beginning to lose their humanity with this social media of a thing!! Is it not enough that someone posted a picture of Her on her dying bed and even her burial wasn’t private and now this?? What the heck is wrong with us?
