Teenage Fantasy DVD hits shelves

This is cheering news for kids and teenagers in Nigeria. Teenage Fantasy, the first complete teenage movie and the maiden feature by Charles Brain Nnoshiri, recently hit shelves nationwide on DVD amid plaudits and commendations, this SHOWBIZPLUSng can authoritatively report.

The movie which was produced with the primary aim of seeing teenagers recognized and blossom in the Nigerian entertainment industry, explores the socio-cultural life of teenagers through the issues he or she has to deal with and the effects of peer groups and societal pressure.
Produced and directed by Charles Brain Nnoshiri, the movie features Yvonne Jegede and Paul Sambo as well as a bevy of talented teenagers who were students of Noble Vine College.
According to Charles who said he made his Nollywood debut in 2004 as editor/ special effects in the movie, ‘40 Days in the wilderness’, said “the film is a must watch which every teenager will love and is now out on DVDs nationwide. This is after a very successful premiere which took place in December 2013, at the Film House Cinemas, Lagos.
He went on to say that the premiere which had been put together for teenagers and their parents was very well received with guests commenting on edutainment value of the movie to them.
Speaking passionately about the movie, the director said he partnered with Mrs. Cynthia .N. Eze, the Proprietress of Noble Vine Schools, to produce the movie by grooming and training teenagers in acting for over seven years. He was full of praise to Mrs. Eze, who he said took the project personal and made sure it came out successfully because of its educational value to the society.
The talented filmmaker said he started his own media outfit, Synergy Studios, in 2007 majoring in television and film production. “We have worked on various projects including ‘The Teenievision Show’ which is currently running on TVC Lagos and RSTV Port Harcourt”.
