After a long
break from the industry that gave him fame and fortune, Prince Jeff Ejike
Chukwuanuka famously known as FJ the King, is back again with a big bang.
The Enugu
State-born crooner fondly called Attitude Master, recently dropped his long
awaited single, Oh my lover.
FJ, also the
crown prince of his Enuogwu kingdom, featured dance hall star, Timaya, in the
new hip life single currently ruling airwaves and topping music chats amid
reviews.
In a chat
with Daylight.ng, the entertainer (Agugbaola 1) who doubles as the head honcho
of Attitude Unit Group Worldwide Limited, said the new single is for his
teeming fans who have stood by him these years and equally believed in him musically.
“Aside being
a musician, I’m also a pioneer Nollywood star and a God fearing philanthropist that
is well known for my charity reach outs.
Oh my lover,
is a special dedication to my fans globally. It is a special song for all those
that are truly in love and cherish the true meaning of love.”
On how he
came about the name FJ, the international business man said: "FJ the King" is a stage name,
coined from Fanta Jeff which was given to me after the Fanta advert I did way
back in 1991.
I was
managed then by the late Sam loco Efe as a Nollywood actor. I also played the
role of the son of Nkem Owoh in one of his hit movies, ’Ikuku’.
After that movie,
I dropped two hot singles back to back, "Big Boys Outing and Jigida" in same 1991, which were all
huge successes,” he added.
FJ, a UN
Peace Ambassador, was awarded the honour after he visited several orphanage
homes in different parts of the world including Jakarta, Indonesia.
The
multi-talented artiste who deals in gold, precious stones and Swarovski items
is a designer/costumier and hugely into the pimping of cars, customizations of jewellery and other prized items.
Having
signed some young and vibrant acts on his Attitude Unit Records and Pure Money Royal
Records" respectively, the producer and events organizer said he is
determined to take the music industry to a higher level, soon.
“I’m hugely
delighted that Oh my lover, is fast gaining grounds in the competitive Nigerian
music industry as well as across the globe.”
