The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is leaving no stone unturned ahead of the February general elections, this SHOWBIZPLUSng can authoritatively reveal.
The Attahiru Jega-led electoral umpire recently contracted one of the leading film companies in Nollywood, Macnuel Productions Limited to produce and package a short movie aimed at sensitising and educating the voting public on the procedures for accreditation and voting during the forthcoming national exercise.

The mouth watering contract, Daylight.ng reliably gathered was bided and won by the Chidi Nwokeabia-led Macnuel based on their pedigree and track record in the nation’s motion picture industry.
The star-studded flick according to elated Nwokeabia, an MBA holder, will contain detailed visual illustration of the activities at the polling station on election days, including the process of arrival at the polling station,
opening of poll and authentication of the PVC, while using the latest technology, the smart card reader.
It will also entail accreditation, close of accreditation, commencement of voting and closing of polls.
The well scripted advocacy/enlightenment movie was shot at various locations in Surulere, Lagos recently and featured some of the biggest names in Nollywood, several up and coming talents alongside a large cast that all supported the crew to achieve maximum result.
As a tested filmmaker, Nwokeabia and his highly experienced crew made use of high end movie equipment for the shoot of the epoch flick that has been applauded by many within and outside the industry.
Interestingly, the flick will be produced in both English and Pidgin languages to help it achieve the required result and impact.
In a chat with journalists at the venue of the shoot, very proud Nwokeabia thanked INEC for the rare opportunity given him to be part of the laudable initiative from the electoral body.
‘’Since the introduction of the permanent voters card and the smart card technology, which are new in our voting process, the movie project will not only encourage voters to be part of the electoral process, but will help educate them on how to exercise their voting mandate. When completed this awareness movie will air on major TV stations in Nigeria.
It will also help us achieve violence free election and eliminate rigging. We are really grateful to INEC for partnering with us on this laudable initiative,” Nwokeabia, the producer of award winning Champions of Our Time, added.
