Excitement as Glo launches high end product

  Glo is promising exciting times for customers as the company prepares to launch a unique product, which offers mouth- watering benefits to its premium subscribers.

Globacom in a statement sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng,  stated that the new product, called Glo Prive, will accord premium recognition and offer special privileges to high value subscribers on the Glo network.

Celebrations as Glo overtakes Airtel, now occupies No 2 position

National telecommunications operator, Globacom, has moved to the position of the second largest mobile service provider in the country beating Airtel to the third place.‎

According to figures just published by industry regulator, Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) on its website, Glo had 27,327,646 subscribers on its network as at the end of June, 2014. 

A statement sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng stated that the figure translates to 21% share of the Nigerian telecoms market, and places Glo second to MTN which has 56,516,759, thus calling for celebration and jubilation by the management and staff of the Mike Adenuga led telecoms giant.

Glo Xchange: SMEs excited, hail initiative

A cross section of owners of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs) have expressed enthusiasm over the launch of Glo Xchange, declaring that the mobile money super agent network is another huge income stream for their business.   

At the town hall meetings held in Ibadan, Benin, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ikeja and  Lekki in Lagos recently, the SME owners who turned up to register as Glo Xchange agents, praised Globacom for the elaborate platform which is aimed at deepening financial inclusion and promoting Nigeria’s electronic payment system.
