Boko Haram: APC calls for independent inquiry into fake Boko Haram ceasefire deal

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called for an independent inquiry to unravel the circumstances surrounding the apparently fake ceasefire deal announced by the Jonathan Administration on Oct. 17th, now that the sect's leadership has described as an impostor the man with whom the phantom deal was negotiated.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said Nigerians will like to know how the Jonathan Administration got swindled by an impostor, who the major players were and what the government plans to do to address what has now become a monumental national and international embarrassment.

2015: APC in disarray as Buhari, Kwankwaso go separate ways...Consensus plan flops

L-R: Kwankwaso and Buhari

Efforts by stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress, APC to forge a consensus between two of the major presidential aspirants in the party, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Rabiu Kwankwanso have failed.
Both men in an apparent determination to slug it out have now formally scheduled dates to declare their aspirations.
Reflective of their efforts for political supremacy, the associates of both men were last night engaged in a war of words on who was better placed to win the presidential ticket of the party.
Buhari is to declare for the contest on Wednesday, October 15, while Governor Kwankwanso has himself scheduled his declaration for October 23, 2014.

Mohammed

by the PDP-led Federal Government, working with some members of the
National Assembly, to cover up the smuggling of 9.3 million US dollars
to South Africa on a private plane, saying the cover-up plans will
fail because the issues involve transcend Nigeria.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Thursday by its National Publicity
Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed and sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng, the party said the cover-up attempt
manifested clearly at the House of Representatives on Tuesday, when a top PDP lawmaker curiously refused to entertain a debate
on a motion seeking a probe of the issue that has further ridiculed
Nigeria in the global community.

South South TAN Rally: PDP Slams APC For Politicizing Ebola Virus Disease

L-R: Jonathan and Tinubu
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State Chapter says the All Progressives Congress, APC, is one flock of same minds suffering from the calamity of being ignorant of everything simply because they lack the courage to admit their ignorance of a great number of things including the dreaded Ebola Virus disease that is ravaging many parts of West African sub region.
The party came out with this while reacting to the APC’s unnecessary discomfort over the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN South South Rally in Port Harcourt over the weekend which was a huge success, and its senseless attempt to blame the party for going on with the event in view of the reported cases of the Ebola disease in the State.
In a statement signed by Jerry Needam, Special Adviser on Media to the State Chairman, Prince Felix Obuah and sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng, the Party said the APC’s continued hue and cry even after the event, and heaps of insults on President Goodluck Jonathan whom it is accusing of masterminding the rally appear to confirm the public view that all the noise about the Ebola virus disease without a corresponding action by Governor Amaechi and his APC chieftains in the State was mainly to stop the PDP rally and not born out of genuine concern for the health of Rivers people.
