N50m debt: Duncan Mighty fights Rivers State Governor...Begs Gov to pay old debt

Duncan Mighty

A very shameful and embarrassing news filtering into SHOWBIZPLUSng has it that dance hall music star, Duncan Mighty is currently engaged in a very messy fight with the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi over the sum of N50 million, which he claims Amaechi owes him.
In an open letter, the self-acclaimed ‘Port Harcourt first son’ wrote to Amaechi, he alleged that the controversial Governor owes him the sum of N50m, which he used in organizing and mobilizations campaigns for Amaechi, during the last governorship campaign in the state.

Embittered and disappointed Mighty said he was given N10m during the organisation of the event by the then Secretary to the State Government, Senator Magnus Abe, but is yet to receive the balance of N50m, as he was promised by the Governor then.
“The rumour mills have it that the Governor of Rivers State has given me juicy contracts including all manner of flashy cars, but I stand here today to debunk such tales, because I have not received as much as a bicycle spoke from Governor Amaechi. I will like to state that this has nothing to do with party politics, I am seriously appealing to everyone who knows Governor Amaechi to tell him to pay me my money in the name of God,” part of the open letter read. Trust us to keep you darling readers updated as Mighty opens more can of worms on Amaechi and the debt owed him.
