Applause as Highlites with IK launches on Africa Magic



The world of African television is set for an exciting development as popular radio personality and Big Brother Africa host, IK Osakioduwa launches his new show on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 20:00 CAT (7pm Nigerian time). A statement sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng stated that the show, Highlites with IK, will air on Africa Magic Showcase (DSTV channel 151) and will tackle societal issues with a dose of humour and wit.

Excitement as Big Brother unveils Hotshots

 This is definitely a cheering news. Fans of Africa’s biggest reality show-Big Brother Africa, will no longer have to wait in anticipation until the launch on October 5, to be a ble to meet their favourites Big Brother hotshots.

In a bold and ground breaking move, which is world first, M-Net and series producers Endemol SA will be unveiling the names of the participating housemates live on the official Big Brother website at 12h00 CAT today,  Wednesday, September 17, this SHOWBIZPLUSng can authoritatively report. This will be followed by regular updates on the social media platforms. Fans will be introduced to three Big Brother housemates on a daily basis starting today.

Big Brother Africa season nine set to take over social media

Every year fans across the continent sit eagerly glued to their screens, social media abuzz; they wait tensely to be razzled and dazzled by their favourite Big Brother Africa housemates.

As the shows fanbase grows, so does the conversation on the social networks. During the eight  season, over six million fans interacted with Big Brother Africa via the Website, Twitter, and Facebook, with the website generating just over 200 million impressions.
