Another sad news from the Nigerian banking sector. Gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday attacked the Automated Teller Machine of a branch of the United Bank for Africa on Ajilosun area of Ado Ekiti, carting away an undisclosed amount of money.

In fact, an associate professor of Orthodontics at the University of Lagos Teaching Hospital, Dr. Oluwatosin Sanu, has sued eight commercial banks, including United Bank for Africa Plc, Ecobank Nigeria Plc, Diamond Bank of Nigeria Plc, First Bank of Nigeria Plc, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc, Enterprise Bank Plc, Access Bank of Nigeria Plc and Stanbic IBTC Bank.
