| Medical personnel battling Ebola |
The recent Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) outbreak in
Rivers State that has claimed the life of a doctor and put that of many more in
danger, has been blamed on Governor Rotimi Amaechi’s poor handling of serious
and urgent state matters.
The Rivers State PDP, in a
statement sent to SHOWBIZPLUSng said it was pained by the latest development
which it strongly believes was preventable but occurred as a result of apparent
negligence and ill-conceived political game play by Amaechi, even when there
were enough warnings and preliminary efforts aimed at averting it by the
federal authorities through the federal Ministry of Health.
