Football veterans including former Super Eagles coach Adegboye Onigbinde and ex-Nigeria winger Adokie Amiesimaka have lamented the country failure to qualify for 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

Coach Stephen Keshi has said he is willing to return to take charge of the Super Eagles if asked by President Goodluck Jonathan.

During a re-conciliatory meeting with the warring factions of the Nigeria Football Federation on Wednesday night, President Jonathan demanded the reinstatement of Keshi as coach.

Goal reported earlier that Keshi would return to the Nigeria job even though the NFF has not officially confirmed it.
