Mike Akhigbe to be buried Nov. 23

The federal government has fixed Saturday, November 23 as date for the final interment of former Chief of General Staff (CGS), the late Admiral Mike Okhai Akhigbe. He will be given a state burial. This was disclosed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim during the inauguration of the burial committee of the Edo State-born Naval Officer. The members of the committee are: Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Dele Ezeoba, Minister of Works, Mike Onolememen, Minister of Information and supervising Minister of Defence, Labaran Maku and a representative of Edo governor.
