FG warns ASUU: End strike in one-week or face war

After several months of hobnobbing with the leadership of ASUU and its army of striking lecturers, the Federal Government now wants to bare its fang at the union. And to show its seriousness about going to war with ASUU, the FG has issued a one week ultimatum to ASUU and equally directed all federal university vice-chancellors to reopen their institutions for academic activities to commence.
The government declared that lecturers who fail to resume on or before December 4, would be fired.
The embattled supervising minister of education, Nyesom Wike stated this at a recent news conference in Abuja.
