It is no longer news that Afro beat
king, Femi Kuti was again nominated for the 2014 Grammy Awards in the Best
World Music Album Category. What many, especially his teeming fans are oblivious of is
the fact that visibly elated Kuti is still celebrating and rejoicing over his
nomination, even though it is the fourth time he’s being nominated.
Kuti is unperturbed, despite never
winning with any of the previous nominations.
Kuti’s 2013 album No Place for My Dream
was nominated in the Best World Music Album category alongside French group
Gipsy Kings, South African group, Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Indian singer,
Ravi Shankar.

just to be nominated in Grammy award is a great recognition. It is the highest musical award in the world. I hope and pray he wins this time. but if he doesn't, he should be grateful that he was nominated cause it's a great recognition.
