217 foreigners get Nigeria's citizenship certificates

Despite the many challenges facing us, a total of 217 foreigners recently applied and were presented with certificates of citizenship by the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro. According to Moro, the 217 foreigners, comprising 129 who naturalized and 88 who became Nigerians by registration, were conferred citizenship after they were recommended to President Goodluck Jonathan for approval by the Advisory Committee on Nigerian citizenship.
