Shock as ex Super Eagles star, Emeka Ezeugo converts to Islam

Many Nigerians are still in shock as ex Super Eagles star and Mohammedan SC of Bangladesh coach, Emeka Ezeugo, 44, recently announced that he has embraced Islam. He disclosed that he was inspired  to embrace the religion after reading the life of Prophet Mohammed. Ezeugo, who had already taken a new name, Mustafa, said he feels honoured to be a follower of Prophet Mohammed. He also made it clear that his family, who are religious Catholics, had accepted his decision to join a new faith.
