Unconfirmed information filtering into SHOWBIZPLUS has that President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed the immediate past chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as the chairman of the Nigeria Railways Corporation (NRC).
The new appointment has finally sealed embattled Tukur's hope of becoming the nation's Minister of Defence, a post we reliably learnt, he's already lobbying and fervently praying to occupy since his ouster from the PDP.
