About 3,500 pilgrims from Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Imo States,
among others are to be airlifted from Akwa Ibom International Airport,
Uyo for this year's Christian pilgrimage to the Holy Land.
The
Secretary of Nigerian Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Abuja, John Kennedy
Okpara, who disclosed this recently when he paid a courtesy visit on
Governor Godswill Akpabio at Governor's Office, Uyo, said this was due
to the modern and standard facilities in the airport which has made it
one of the best in the country.

Another recognition for AK Media boss

Nollywood storms London School of Economics

United Kingdom, proudly screened its first ever Nollywood movie, Ije: The
Journey...to its multiracial students and stakeholders.The Nollywood-Los Angeles collaboration, produced and directed by youthful Chineze Anyaene, a multiple-award winning filmmaker, was shown at the Global Media and Communications post-graduate program's weekly interaction.
The duo of Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji are the lead acts in the pulsating and suspense-filled flick. Also in attendance was the Programme’s Director, Prof. Terhi Rantanen.

Two veterans from the old and new generations,
Victor Olaiya and Tuface Idibia recently teamed up to remix a classic song from the
former’s early 60’s offering, “Mofe Muyan,” now christened “Baby Mi Da.”
Spellz produced the remixed song, while Kunle Afolayan, made
it his music video debut.

AGN sacks PRO, Frank Dallas …Alleges forgery and anti guilds activities
Barely seven months after he was sworn in as the National Public Relations
Officer (PRO) of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Frank Dallas has been
impeached by the National Executive Council of the guild.
