Music star, Iyanya preaches true love at Val

Reigning Nigerian hip hop artiste and MTN brand ambassador, Iyanya Mbuk, seemed to have highlighted what matters most to people during what is largely regarded as the ‘season of love’.  While interacting with fans on a celebrity twitter guest series via the MTN Twitter handle, the “Kukere” master explained that the greatest gift that can be given to anyone at Valentine is “true love”.

The talented artiste made the statement when he was asked about his choice Valentine gift, by a tweep, on the celebrity guest series, regarding the high demand for gifting during this period.

When asked about the status of his love life, he vehemently pointed out that he is not yet married and may not do so anytime soon.  According to him, “God’s time is the best’.

In the same vein, he admitted that he admired women and always checked out their waist as the first attraction. This, he said, informed the title of his song, “Your Waist”.

The MTN twitter handle has been enjoying overwhelming followership in recent days as the build up towards Valentine intensifies among the youth and couples who see the season as the best time to show deep affection to friends, family and lovers.

The telecommunications and ICT service provider has hosted not less than six Nigerian artistes since Tuesday last week. Artistes like KCee, Praiz, Chidinma, Harrysong, Davido and Tiwa Savage have all featured on the MTN celebrity twitter guest series, where they provided insights into their private lives. The series aims to help the followers of MTN twitter handle and customers in general to prepare for one of the most important seasons of giving. As well, fans will have opportunity to win prizes ranging from airtime to mobile phone.

The twitter guest series is also a preparation for a grand event, tagged ‘MTN Valentine Rave Party’, to be hosted by MTN this Friday.
